How can i register an account?

To register anew Connectter account

-  Click on the Register button in the topright-hand corner of any Connectter page and the Connectter Registration page will open.

-  Complete the registration form byentering all the required fields. Required fields are indicated with anasterisk (*). The email address you enter on this form must be a valid address that is owned by you.

-  Enter a valid password that adheres tothe guidelines described here password strength.

***Password Strength***

​​​​It is important to set a strong password for your Connectter account. Connectter account passwords must follow these rules:

·      The password must be at least eight characters in length.

·     The password must contain at least onelower case letter and one upper case letter.

 

-  Confirm that you have read and agreed to the Terms of Use by clicking the accept button.

The following screen will appear if your  email registration has been successful.

To activate your new Connectter account

Before you can sign in to Connectter with your username and password, you must activate the account by opening this link that is send to you in an email. This is done in order to verify thatthe email address you have given us is indeed yours and valid.

  • Go  to your email inbox.
  • Open the email with subject line: Please confirm your   email. The sender will  be no-reply@connectter.com.
  • If  you do not find the email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk  mail folders. If you do find the email in these folders, mark the email as   "safe" or "not spam" to ensure that you receive any future correspondence emails from Connectter.
  • Click  on the "Click here to activate" link in the email.
  • A  new browser window or tab will open. If the link does not work, copy and  paste the activation URL from the email into your browser's address bar.
  • Your Connectter Account will be activated and you will now be able to sign in to Connectter using the email and password entered in the Connectter Registration form. After successful  activation of your account the following message will be displayed and you will be directed to onboarding process.

Problems Registering

There are several reasons why a Connectter account registration attempt might fail. If there is a problem with your registration data, the registration page will display one or more error messages prompting you to correct the form. Some typical problems are explained below:

All the required fields have not beencompleted:

A small number of fields on the registration form must be completed. These are marked with an asterisk (*).

Your chosen user name is already taken:

Connectter user names must be unique. If someone else has already registered your username, then your registration cannot be completed. Select a different user name and resubmit the registration form.

Password values do not match:

The values entered in the "Password" and "Confirm your password" fields must match.

Password is not long or complex enough:

The password must meet a minimum length and complexity standard.

Your email address is invalid:

Email addresses must be valid. An activation email will be sent to the entered email address so please ensure the value entered is correct.
